River Monitoring System - Macedonia
RIMSYS is a project funded by the SDC in the FYR of Macedonia. It is designed to generate data which can be used to establish baselines and document long term changes in the pollution levels of the important rivers in the country; »»»
Natural hazards and flood protection - Switzerland
ITECO has carried out a number of studies in the field of natural hazard modelling and risk assessment. The process commenced with a detailed recording of past events and then progressed to investigation of instigating factors, modelling, calibration and testing of the model and finally prediction of future risks. The projects ranged from localised stream flows in mountain areas to complete Canton mapping. This work was often intimately connected to other parts of Geographic Information Systems. »»»

SHPP Stenna Flims Graubünden - Switzerland
Planning, design and construction of the completely renewed small hydropower plant (1,700 kW) including a 1,500 metre long penstock, all civil structures, vertical shaft Pelton turbine and electrical equipment. In addition the construction supervision of a new drinking water supply pipe & the new artificial snow plant. »»»

Thulo Dhunga Hydropower Plant, Nepal
ITECO Engineering Ltd. carried out the pre-feasibility study and the feasibility design of a new 25 MW hydropower plant in Eastern Nepal, including intake structures, a 5 km long tunnel, penstock, powerhouse, electrical and electromechanical equipment. Hydrological, geological and logistical (no road access) assessment of the project location were also included.
Hydropower plants in the Canton of Zug - Switzerland
The existing 540 kilowatt run of the small hydropower plant at Hagendorn was build in 1917 and used with a second plant nearby to supply power to the paper factory in Cham. It is situated on the lower Lorze, a small river that flows from the lake of Zug into the River Reuss. The operating head is around six metres and intake is via open channels. The nearby SHPP at Untermühle, built in 1903, is located in the river and operates, also with a 6 metre head, using a scenic storage pond without without deviation of the river flow. Both Hydropower plants together generate about 4 million kWh of electricity per year. The nature of the historic buildings and machinery and the desire to retain as much as possible of the existing installations adds a new dimension into this design and construction project.

Ranolia Hydropower Project, Pakistan
Planning and tender design of a 11.5 MW hydropower plant at Ranolia in the Northwest Frontier Province of Pakistan. Preparation of international tendering of all relevant parts. Promotion of the plant as a Build-Own-Operate project including financial engineering.
