This concept is supported by all actors in the international development community as a way in which all people can be empowered in this information age. Ready access to information is seen as one way in which the disadvantaged poor can bridge the gap between north and south.
Not only do we use free and open source tools, we make sure that appropriate training and ongoing support is provided to the players involved.
