Transport Economist (Short Term)
ITECO Engineering Ltd is the lead partner in a consortium to study the feasibility of navigating the Akagera River between Lake Victoria and Rwanda, a World Bank funded project for the Government of Rwanda.
We are seeking an experienced Transport Economist to work with the team of Swiss, Tanzania, Rwandan and Chinese professionals on the project.
The position requires experience in transportation economics in developing countries. Additional credit will be given to candidates with relevant African experience.
Fluency in English is required, knowledge of French would be an advantage.
The position would require a number of missions to Kigali between now and the end of 2010, with the first mission immediately following engagement.
